Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. requests the public’s help in identifying the below-pictured male suspect concerning a package theft that occurred on Saturday, December 28, 2024.
At approximately 9:11 a.m., a victim’s two delivered packages were stolen from the front door of a residence at Lenox Street near Sanford Avenue. One package contained a car part and the other contained clothing.
The suspect arrived at the residence on a bicycle. He pretended to ring the doorbell before removing the packages and fleeing.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS(1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
