Safe Cycling Workshop + Pizza Party - January 26
Join Walk 'n Rollers, Culver City Police, and Culver CityBus on Sunday, January 26 from 10 am- 1 pm at the Culver-Palms YMCA for a free class and pizza party afterward!
In this 3-hour, family-friendly workshop, you will learn about bike safety, rules of the road and practice with trained instructors. If you are starting to bike, recently purchased a new e-bike, or need some tips to stay safe while riding, this workshop is for you – no matter what type of bike you ride.
This is an excellent time for you and your family to build confidence and awareness of the essentials of safe cycling. This workshop includes classroom time to learn the basics of preparing to ride, helmet fitting, rules of the road, and e-bike safety, with plenty of time for Q&A. Plus, there will be a group ride to practice riding on city streets with trained instructors!
All participants will receive a goody bag, helmet, lights, plus a pizza party afterward – courtesy of Culver CityBus. Culver City Police will offer free on-site bike registration to help keep your wheels safe. Don't miss out!
