INCIDENT: PC 451: ARSON
LOCATION: Verbena Road/ Mojave Road, Adelanto
SUSPECT: Eduardo Delapaz, 20 years of age, resident of Adelanto
SUMMARY: On Monday, January 20, 2025, at 3:25 a.m., deputies responded to assist fire personnel at a brush fire near Verbena Road and Mojave Drive in Adelanto.
Fire personnel located the suspect, Eduardo Delapaz, at the scene of the fire. Delapaz was still in possession of the gasoline and lighter used to start the fire.
Eduardo Delapaz was arrested for arson and booked at the High Desert Detention Center. He is currently being held in lieu of $60,000.00 bail.
