INCIDENT: FATAL TRAFFIC COLLISION

On Tuesday, January 21st, 2025, at approximately 9:50 PM, Pomona Police Officers responded to the area of Monterey Ave and Garey Ave. regarding a vehicle vs. bus traffic collision. Responding officers arrived on scene and located a sedan that collided with the rear of a bus that was stopped. First responders performed life saving measures on scene; however, the driver of the sedan ultimately succumbed to his injuries. 5 passengers on the bus were transported to a local hospital for minor injuries. The driver of the involved bus remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
