Wilmington Police arrest male juvenile in connection to armed robbery:
Wilmington Police have arrested a male juvenile in connection to an armed robbery.
On January 13, at approximately 4:00 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 300 block of West 6th Street in reference to an armed robbery. The case was assigned to Detective Kevin Nolan of the Criminal Investigations Division. Through the course of his investigation, Detective Nolan identified a 14-year-old male juvenile as a suspect, and obtained warrants for his arrest. On January 17, police executed a search warrant in the 1300 block of East 16th Street and took the 14-year-old male juvenile into custody without incident.
The 14-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Robbery (First Degree)
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
