Fatal Crash

On 01/22/25 at 6:38am the Janesville Police Department and Fire Department responded to a single vehicle crash with injury at Hwy 14/Humes Rd. and Deerfield Dr.  On arrival, responding officers located a single vehicle crash with multiple traffic signals down.  The Janesville Fire Department attempted life saving measures.  The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased on scene by the Rock County Medical Examiners Office.  The cause of the crash is still under investigation at this time and no further information will be released.  The Wisconsin State Patrol Traffic Reconstruction Unit assisted in the investigation.
