Needles Man Arrested for Violation of Parole
DATE/TIME: Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at approximately 8:57 p.m.
INCIDENT: PC 3056 - Violation of Parole
LOCATION: 300 Block of Chestnut Street Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Andrew Weekley, 34-Years-Old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at approximately 8:57 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department conducted a compliance check near the 300 block of Chestnut Street on Andrew Weekley who is currently on Parole.
When deputies arrived on scene, Weekley was not at the residence. As deputies were leaving, they saw Andrew Weekley drive past them in an attempt to elude deputies. Deputies activated their lights and sirens and initiated a traffic stop. After several blocks, the vehicle yielded and deputies confirmed the driver was in fact, Andrew Weekley. Deputies conducted a compliance check of Weekley and he was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamines.
Andrew Weekley was consequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking on the above mentioned charges. Weekley remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, with no bail, awaiting a court hearing.
