Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Shoplifting Suspect
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda Sr. seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspect pictured below, who shoplifted merchandise from Starbucks on January 20, 2025.
At approximately 8:28 a.m., the suspect, a Black female, walked into Starbucks in the 600 block of Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Boulevard. She took several items – a coffee cup, a French press, and a large plastic cup - and put them in a silver bag before leaving the store.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information about the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
