As temperatures continue to drop, refreezing of snow and ice is expected, making roadways more dangerous. Please stay off the roadways and take extra precautions if you must travel.
Warming shelters are still open for those in need. Locations are:

Jasper County Sheriff's Office is available for those in need of transportation in emergency situations. Reach out to our non-emergency dispatch line at (843) 726-7519 to request.
Check on your neighbors, especially elderly and vulnerable individuals, to ensure they're safe and warm.
