Refreezing expected this evening making travel dangerous, Warming Shelters still open 
Temperatures are expected to drop below freezing again this evening, Authorities remind you to stay off of the roadways, There is the possibility of black ice which is hard to see until you are on it.. If you must travel please use extreme caution.
There are a couple of warming shelters located in Jasper County, Kingdom Touch Ministries in Northern Jasper and in Southern Jasper County near Hardeeville, Agape Life Center is open at 5855 S.Okatie Highway The Jasper County Sheriff's office is providing transportation by request. You can call them at 843-726-7519
Check on your neighbors, especially elderly and vulnerable individuals. Also, remember the 4-Ps People, Pets, Pipes and Plants.
