VICTIM(S): CONFIDENTIAL
SUMMARY: On January 9, 2025, Fontana Sheriff's Station deputy Christian Padilla began investigating a series of vehicle burglaries between December 2024 and January 2025, in the Bloomington area. The vehicle burglaries occurred at distribution warehouses throughout San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. The suspect would enter the warehouse employee parking lots, posing as an employee. Once the suspect gained access, she would break into the employees' vehicles while the employees were working. The preliminary estimation is at least 10 separate vehicle burglaries. However, investigators believe there are more that have not been reported.
Investigators with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Fontana Station developed leads that identified Krystal Gonzalez as the suspect responsible for the vehicle burglaries. Gonzalez is currently on parole and a resident of Loma Linda.
On January 22, 2025, Fontana Sheriff's Station investigators served a search warrant at Gonzalez's residence. During the search warrant, investigators recovered over 100 items of stolen property. Gonzalez is being held without bail at the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Central Detention Center.
