Traffic Stop and Subsequent Search Warrants Lead to Discovery of Weapons and Narcotics; Five Suspects Arrested

                   POSSESSION OF ILLEGAL WEAPONS
                   SEARCH WARRANTS

LOCATION: 9500 block of Silver Avenue, Hesperia

SUSPECT: Baljodh Singh, 26 years of age, resident of Hesperia
                   Gurvinder Singh, 30 years of age, resident of Sacramento
                   Gurwinder Singh, 27 years of age, resident of Hesperia
                   Gurjit Singh, 30 years of age, resident of Sacramento
                   Gurbhej Singh, 25 years of age, resident of Victorville

SUMMARY: On Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 4:47 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Main Street and Topaz Avenue, in Hesperia. The driver of the vehicle, Baljodh Singh, was found in possession of a short barrel assault rifle and approximately two pounds of suspected cocaine.

During service of a search warrant at Singhs residence in the 9500 block of Silver Avenue in Hesperia, weapons and narcotics were located. Gurvinder Singh, Gurwinder Singh, and Gurjit Singh were located and arrested at the residence.

Additional search warrants were served at related residences in the 9700 block of Cottonwood Avenue in Hesperia, 9900 block of Topaz Avenue in Hesperia, and 15200 block of Seneca Road in Victorville. Gurbhej Singh was located at the residence on Seneca Road and arrested without incident.

As a result of this case, eight guns, three pounds of suspected cocaine, and three pounds of marijuana were taken off the streets. An undisclosed amount of money was also seized. Baljodh Singh, Gurvinder Singh, Gurwinder Singh, Gurjit Singh, and Gurbhej Singh were booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
