Category 1 travel advisory 
A category 1 travel advisory is in effect due to gusting winds and the potential for consistantly heavy rain. These conditions could lead to land or rock slides and potential flooding.
The National Weather Service issued a high wind warning for our area that remains in effect until 10PM this evening. High winds may move loose debris, damage property, and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult.
The National Weather Service has also issued a special weather statment of periods of moderate to heavy rain today through the weekend across the eastern Aleutians, particularly Unalaska/Dutch Harbor.
Please drive with extreme caution. This weather advisory will be updated at 9AM on Friday January 24 2025.
