* WHAT...Southeast winds 35 to 55 mph with gusts up to 70 mph possible along Turnagain Arm and the Anchorage Hillside. Winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts 40 to 50 mph possible for the Anchorage Bowl.
* WHERE...Anchorage.
* WHEN...From late tonight through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...High winds could move loose debris, damage property, and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusty southeasterly winds will accompany rainfall. Winds could gust as high as 70 mph along the Anchorage Hillside and up to 40 to 50 mph for parts of the Anchorage Bowl. The combination of wind and rain could bring down trees, particularly in areas where the ground is not frozen or where trees are already weakened from the recent windstorm.
