* WHAT...Heavy snow and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations of 8 to 15 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. Visibility one half mile or less at times in blowing snow.
* WHERE...White Mountains and High Terrain South of the Yukon River.
* WHEN...Until 9 AM AKST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow amounts will be from Livengood to Tolovana Hot Springs to Ptarmigan Pass with local amounts up to 30 inches in high terrain. High winds gusting to 50 mph and low visibility expected over Twelvemile and Eagle Summits through Sunday morning. Other areas will see winds gusting to 25 mph. Slight chance of rain mixing with snow in lower elevation valleys.
