The male victim, 23, was working at an area business when he confronted the suspect, who attempted to steal property. The suspect forced his way past the victim and fled with the property. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1854) Willow Street and Orange Street, Civic District
The female victim, 36, was in the area when she became involved in a disturbance with a known suspect. The suspect fired a firearm toward the victim and fled. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
3. Weapon Arrest (0222) Airport Way and Eighth Street, Park District
Officers conducted a proactive checkout of the suspect and found him to be in possession of a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Male juvenile for weapon charges.
