Category 1 Travel Advisory 
A Category 1 Travel Advisory is in effect due to high winds and blowing snow, causing intermittent whiteout conditions. Roads Dept is also out working to clear some of the snow/slush buildup. Alaska statute requires that headlights be illuminated when visibility is limited. While travel is possible, it's advised to only do so if necessary and use caution.
