1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0910) Park Street and San Joaquin Street, Civic District
Two adult victims saw the suspect tampering with a mailbox and confronted the suspect. The suspect shot at the victim but missed. An officer heard the gunshots and tried to arrest the suspect, but he fled. The suspect eventually was taken into custody, and officers recovered the firearm. ARRESTED: Vontell Wesson, 42, for assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, and weapon charges.
