The Caldwell Police Department would like to remind residents to be vigilant in reporting suspicious activity and vehicles as Caldwell and surrounding towns have experienced motor vehicle and residential burglaries. Car thieves have become more brazen to obtain the keys to high end vehicles parked in driveways by breaking into homeowners residences.

We will continue to increase patrols in our residential neighborhoods and remain vigilant. We ask our residents to help us combat theft and breaking ins by making sure their vehicles and residences are locked and secured to include house windows and sliding glass doors. If you have an alarm system, please make sure it is armed while you are sleeping.  

The Caldwell Police Department urges residents to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious activity via 9-1-1.
