Coroner's Office Conducting Investigation After Male Subject Found Deceased Near Creek in Rancho Cucamonga

LOCATION: Almond Street and Turquoise Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga
VICTIM(S): Unidentified Male
SUMMARY: On Monday, January 27, 2025, at approximately 10:27 A.M., deputies responded to the area north of Almond Street and Turquoise Avenue for a possible deceased subject. The reporting party advised he was hiking near the creek with his dogs when he discovered the deceased subject.
Deputies, along with the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Department, arrived and located the deceased subject, later determined to be a male, near the creek. The Coroner’s Division responded and assumed the investigation. The Coroner’s Division will conduct an investigation to identify the deceased and attempt to locate the next of kin. There were no signs of foul play.
