Activity for January 28, 2025: Officers responded to 67 calls for service, made 4 arrests, and 20 traffic stops.
Activity for January 28, 2025:
- Officer Brooker was dispatched to the 1100 block of Burr Street for a domestic dispute. JCYC refused to lodge the 15-year-old male suspect for domestic assault. Domestic assault charges will be sought on the suspect.
- Officer Brooker observed a traffic crash at North Waterloo Avenue and East Ganson Street. A 41-year-old female was transported to the hospital. Charges will be sought on the female for driving while intoxicated, pending lab results.
- Officer Kuhn visited with students at Hunt Elementary School.
- Officer Vernier responded to a domestic dispute in the 100 block of Lydia Street. A 40-year-old female and a 38-year-old male were arrested for felonious assault.
- Officer Justice and Officer Smith were dispatched to the 1000 block of Cooper Street for subjects shoplifting. A 30-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Retail fraud charges will be sought on the 30-year-old female and a 43-year-old male.
- Officer Allison met with officers from the East Lansing Police Department for a warrant pick-up. A 20-year-old male was lodged at JSO on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
