This message is to inform you of the following upcoming road closures on East Boston Street (US 190 Bus./LA 21) under the Claiborne Hill Overpass:

• Closure Dates: Nightly from 8:00PM to 6:00 AM starting Monday, February 03, 2025 to Saturday, February 08, 2025 (weather permitting).
• Closure Type: Full Closure
• Reason: Road Construction
• Location: East Boston Street (US 190 Bus./LA 21) underneath the US 190 Bogue Falaya River Bridge (Claiborne Hill Overpass).

During this time, East Boston Street in the construction area will be completely closed to all vehicle traffic. This closure is necessary for the contractor to install bridge girders and deck pans on the new US 190 Bridge.

Detour Information:

• Eastbound on US 190 Bus./LA 21 (E. Boston St.): Turn eastbound/southbound on US 190, then turn northbound on US 190 Bus. (Claiborne Sq.), then turn eastbound on US 190 Bus./LA 21 (E. Boston St.).
• Westbound on LA 21 or LA 36: Turn southbound on US 190 Bus. (Claiborne Sq.), then merge onto eastbound/southbound US 190 (Tammany Pkwy.), then merge onto westbound I-12, then exit to LA 21 (S. Tyler St.).
  • OR: Turn southbound on US 190 Bus. (Claiborne Sq.), then turn westbound/northbound on US 190 (Claiborne Hill Overpass & Collins Blvd.), then turn westbound on US 190 at the LA 25 intersection, then turn southbound/eastbound on US 190 Bus. (W. 21st Ave.).
