Due to a Sewer Break: We are asking all residents to reduce water usage for the next 48 hours - this does not affect septic homes. 
Dear Washington Township Residents;
We are requesting that all Washington Township residents connected to the sewer system exercise responsible water usage over the next 48 hours due to a sewer break. This includes reducing water usage (refraining from running the dishwasher and washing machine) and minimizing sewer usage (septic systems remain unaffected) and taking shorter showers to alleviate sewage.
I am working with county and water officials to address the issue on an hourly basis until resolved, with crews on site.
