Petaluma Police Department seeks help in identifying Robbery Suspect

Location: 5153 Old Redwood Highway, Petaluma
On 1/29/2025, at approximately 3:41 PM, the Petaluma Police Department Dispatch Center received a 911 call from an employee of the Valero gas station located at 5153 Old Redwood Highway, Petaluma.
The employee stated a male subject entered the business, locked the doors, and handed the employee a note. The note demanded the employee put all the money into the male subject’s backpack. Out of fear, the employee complied with the note’s direction and the male subject left the business on foot. No weapon was seen or threatened during the robbery.
The suspect was described as 6’01” tall, adult male, wearing all black clothing, a black backpack and wore a green facial covering.
Petaluma PD units completed an extensive search for the suspect but were unable to locate anyone matching the description provided.
