1. Shooting into a Dwelling (0130) 5900 Block of Brush Creek Drive, Lakeview District
The female victim, 39, was inside her residence when her home and vehicle were struck by gunfire. Another home in the area was also struck by gunfire. There were no reported injuries and no suspect information.
2. Resisting Arrest (0700) 2100 Block of Fontana Avenue, Civic District
Officers conducted a search at a residence in the listed area. Two male juveniles resisted, and force was used to take them into custody. Firearms were located at the residence. ARRESTED: Male juveniles, 15 & 16, for weapon charges and resisting arrest.
3. Battery on an Officer (0813) 7900 block of Lower Sacramento Road, Lakeview District
Officers responded to an area business on a report of a theft. They attempted to detain the suspect, who resisted and struck an officer. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Sam Xiong, 27, for battery on an officer, resisting arrest, burglary, and possession of stolen property.
