LOCATION: The area of Garey Ave and Holt Ave, City of Pomona
NARRATIVE: A vacant building in the 400 Block of North Garey Ave caught fire and has become fully engulfed. Los Angeles County Fire Department is on-scene fighting the active blaze. Pomona Police Department has closed several streets in the area to facilitate the firefighters:
- Garey Ave is shut down between Holt Ave and Monterey Ave
- Holt Ave is closed between Gibbs St and Main St
- Center St is closed between Gibbs St and Main St
Please AVOID the AREA and use alternate routes until lane of traffic can be re-opened.
A NIXLE notification update will be sent when lanes of traffic are re-opened.
