* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 40 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
* WHERE...Ruby Mountains and East Humboldt Range in Elko County.
* WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to 4 AM PST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
* AFFECTED AREAS: RUBY MOUNTAINS AND EAST HUMBOLDT RANGE
