Greenbrier River At Alderson affecting Monroe, Greenbrier and Summers Counties. For the Greenbrier River...including Alderson...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Clinch River...including Richlands...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Clinch River near Richlands.

* WHEN...Until Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Water begins to flood baseball field near water treatment plant. At 11.0 feet, River begins to affect water treatment plant.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:16 PM EST Friday the stage was 10.1 feet and rising. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.0 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.0 feet on 03/01/2021. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
