SUMMARY: On Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at approximately 2:22 A.M., Rancho Cucamonga Deputies conducted a vehicle burglary investigation at Good Fellas Bar, located in the 8000 block of Haven Avenue.
An investigation revealed the victim’s rear passenger side window was shattered with an unknown object and two firearms, U.S. currency, ammunition and a laptop computer were stolen. The victim removed the items from his residence and secured them in his vehicle due to being evacuated during the recent wildfires.
On January 28, 2025, at 8:45 P.M, deputies developed viable leads and identified an associated address related to the incident. Deputies served a search warrant at an address on the 300 block of Utah Court in the city of Claremont. During the warrant service, deputies contacted and detained a subject, later identified as Elton John Cannon, inside the residence. Deputies searched the residence and recovered all the stolen property from the vehicle burglary. The property was returned to the victim.
Cannon was arrested and booked in at the West Valley Detention Center for PC459V- 2nd Degree Burglary.
