The Buckhannon River has crested at 25.15 feet. This is in moderate flooding stage. The water should start receding soon. Several roads are closed due to flooding, including the triangle at route 20 and Kanawha in front of Wendy's, as well as the Vicksburg Road.
DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH WATER COVERED ROADS. Several vehicles had to be towed out of the water in front of Wendy's already this morning and the occupants rescued by the fire department.
