1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1630) 800 Block of Channel Street, Civic District
The male victim, 53, was in the listed area when the suspect approached, assaulted the victim, and fled. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
2. Pursuit Arrest (1851) Stanislaus Street and Washington Street, Civic District
Officers attempted an enforcement stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a short pursuit. The driver eventually stopped and was taken into custody. ARRESTED: Qasim Raza, 25, for evading and traffic charges.
3. Hit and Run (0149) March Lane and Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District
Officers responded to a traffic collision involving several vehicles. The driver of one of the vehicles fled on foot after the collision. Six people were transported to area hospitals, two of which had serious injuries. Traffic personnel were advised and responded to assist with the investigation. There is no suspect information.
