Wanted: Vincent Steele – Dangerous Fugitive on the Run
Vincent Steele is currently wanted out of the City of Atlanta for murder. Late last night, Georgia State Patrol attempted a traffic stop on Steele, but he fled the scene, trying to hide in Clayton County.
SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN, along with his Black Hawk and Cobra units, spotted Steele on Tara Boulevard and initiated a traffic stop on Highway 54, directly in front of Mundy’s Mill High School. Steele again sped away, reaching speeds over 100 mph as he fled Clayton County and entered Fayette County.
At the intersection of Banks Road and Fayetteville Road, Steele caused a crash, T-boning a citizen. Deputies quickly provided aid to the injured person, but Steele managed to escape on foot.
Steele is now being actively pursued by law enforcement from Atlanta Police, Georgia State Patrol, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, and Clayton County Sheriff’s Office.

• Steele was driving a vehicle registered to a family member.
• Anyone caught aiding or harboring Steele will be held accountable.
• Steele is considered armed and dangerous. Do NOT approach him.

Vincent Steele, if you encounter law enforcement, we urge you to surrender peacefully by raising your hands and complying with officers’ instructions.
