Critical Missing Adult Update
The Simi Valley Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a critical missing adult. The missing person is 79-year-old Ali M. Rahim.
Mr. Rahim was last seen around 2:15 PM on January 31, 2025, at his residence in the 2900 block of Tapo Canyon Road. Later in the evening, family members went to the residence, but were unable to find him. His vehicle, a green 2001 Honda Civic, license plate #5VJY696, was also missing. His family has been unable to contact him because his cell phone was left at the residence.
Mr. Rahim is described as an Middle-Eastern male, about 5'10” tall, weighing 210 lbs, with brown hair and green eyes. He needs to take medication and has begun to show cognitive issues.

Missing Person Ali M. Rahim Located Safely
Arcadia, CA – The Arcadia Police Department located missing person Ali M. Rahim today at approximately 5:30 p.m. after he was observed driving in their jurisdiction. Mr. Rahim has been safely reunited with his family.
The Simi Valley Police Department extends its gratitude to the community for their support and willingness to assist in locating Mr. Rahim.
