* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 8 and 16 inches, with up to 24 inches on the highest peaks. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Big Belt, Bridger and Castle Mountains, Gallatin and Madison County Mountains and Centennial Mountains, and Northwest Beaverhead County.
* WHEN...Until 5 PM MST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult and tire chains may be required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry should ensure they are prepared for dangerous conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
