Removal of Dead or Dying Trees
Byram Township would like to remind all property owners of your responsibility to remove dead or dying trees from your property.
Township Ordinances 186-14G and 214-2 require property owners to remove dead or dying trees. This includes the municipal right-of-way strip which is the area between the owner’s property line and edge of pavement. Failure to act can result in a notice of violation.
Property owners should be aware that the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) has impacted our area and led to the loss of ash trees in several areas of Byram Township.
If you discover that you have dead or dying trees, it is recommended you consult with a reliable and licensed tree removal company immediately.
Thank you for your attention to this message to ensure the safety of the community.
