* WHAT...Snow. Localized areas of drifting snow. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches for elevations below 4000 feet and 4 to 8 inches for elevations above 4000 feet.

* WHERE...Flowery Trail Road, Chewelah, Athol, Tiger, Clark Fork, Bonners Ferry, Deer Park, Schweitzer Mountain Road, Kettle Falls, Springdale-Hunters Road, Sandpoint, Northport, Newport, Metaline, Eastport, Fruitland, Orin-Rice Road, Colville, Ione, Priest River, and Metaline Falls.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 10 AM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Snow accumulations Tuesday night into Wednesday morning will create challenging travel, particularly for the Wednesday morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind gusts up to 35 miles per hour. Localized areas of drifting snow will limit visibility at times.
