1. Battery on an Officer (1156) 1000 Block of North Wilson Way, Park District
Officers responded to the area on a report of a trespassing subject. When officers contacted the suspect, she became upset and threw an object at one officer. Officers took the suspect into custody without further incident. The officer was not injured and remained on duty. ARRESTED: Reina Hernandez, 40, for battery on an officer.
2. Resisting Arrest (1317) 4700 Block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District
Officers responded to a theft report and tried to detain the suspect. The suspect ignored the officers’ commands and fled on foot. The suspect was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit. Arrested: A sixteen-year-old was cited for theft and resisting arrest.
