Happy Wednesday! 

This storm is going to bring Snow after 7pm, a change to ice during the night and a mix of everything for the 7am morning commute. I am really pushing for all rain and no accumulation in the morning so everyone has a safe drive but I would prepare for terrible ice conditions.

Storm Update: 

• Timing:  

  • Starting late after 7pm Wednesday (Feb 5) through Thursday afternoon.  

• Olaf Index (Snow): 3,  

  • 1 to 2 Inches of heavy snow.  If there is heavy snow, Don’t shovel it yourself! Engage the Teenager-Shovel-App.  Do you want to build a Snowman? NO! This snow will mix with Freezing Rain, Ice and Slush!  Be aware of hidden ice under the snow.  

• Dorothy Index (Wind):  3, Winds are not going to be gusting like other storms but there will be storm related wind.  

• Elsa Index (Ice):6, Borderline cold temps turing the snow into ice and then rain by Thursday afternoon. 

• Roads: Thursday AM could have the potential to be horrific! Best bet – go out, if you see its bad, icy and glass like roadways, turn around, go back in the house and make a nice cup of coffee.  Then wake the kids with a shovel, ice melt, and a fluffernutter
