January 26, 2025

January 28, 2025

• Petty Theft:

1500 Duarte Road (City of Hope). On January 28, 2025 between 9 AM and 5:36 PM, the suspect(s) unknown entered the victim’s open cubicle and stole her sports bag that was left in plain view. No surveillance video is available. The loss was approximately $150.
 

• Petty Theft:

1500 Duarte Road (City of Hope). On January 28, 2025 between 11 AM and 5 PM, the suspect(s) unknown entered the victim’s open cubicle and stole his wallet that was left in plain view. No surveillance video is available. The loss was approximately $600.
 

• Petty Theft:

1500 Duarte Road (City of Hope). On January 28, 2025 between 4 PM and 5:30 PM, the suspect(s) unknown entered the victim’s open cubicle and stole her wallet from her purse that was left in plain view. No surveillance video is available. The loss was approximately $140.
 

• Grand Theft Vehicle:

1305 Highland Avenue. Between 10 PM on January 27, 2025 and 7 AM on January 28, 2025, the suspect(s) unknown stole the victim’s 2013 silver Kia Optima that was parked at the location. No surveillance video is available.

January 29, 2025

• Petty Theft:

1500 Duarte Road (City of Hope). Between 2:45 PM on January 28, 2025 and 8 AM on January 29, 2025, the suspect(s) unknown entered the victim’s open cubicle and stole her wallet that was left in plain view. No surveillance video is available. The loss was approximately $400. 
 
January 30, 2025

• No significant activity. 

January 31, 2025

• Petty Theft (Unlocked Vehicle):

2302 Mountain Ave (Iglesia Bautista Biblica). On January 31, 2025 at 3:30 PM, the suspects unknown, a male hispanic adult and a female hispanic adult driving a white sedan, entered the victim’s rear open portion of his truck bed, stole his “Echo” tree trimmer, and an “Echo” chainsaw. The suspects fled north on Mountain Avenue and out of view. No surveillance video is available. The loss was approximately $1,000.
 

• Grand Theft Vehicle:

1900 Block of Park Rose Avenue. On January 31, 2025 between 1:53 AM and 8:42 AM, the suspect(s) unknown stole the victim’s 2017 white Infinity Q50 that was parked at the location. No surveillance video is available. 

February 1, 2025

• Grand Theft Vehicle:

2100 block of Maynard Drive. Between 8 PM on January 31, 2025 and 12:02 AM on February 1, 2025, the suspect(s) unknown stole the victim’s 2013 black Fiat 500 that was parked at the location. No surveillance video is available.

“Every person, who with intent to annoy, telephones or makes contact by means of an electronic communication device with another and addresses to or about the other person any obscene language or addresses to the other person any threat to inflict injury to the person or property of the person addressed or any member of his or her family, is guilty of a misdemeanor. Nothing in this subdivision shall apply to telephone calls or electronic contacts made in good faith.” “Electronic communication device” includes items such as text messages, emails, faxes, etc.

Tips if you are receiving annoying or harassing phone calls:
1. Screen your calls. If you don’t recognize the number, don’t answer it.
2. You have no obligation to stay on the phone, do not engage in conversation.
3. Do not tell a caller where you are or give out personal information such as your name, address, social security number, bank account number.
4. Ask your phone company about privacy options for your mobile/landline phone.
