Deputies Respond to 911 Call and Discover Report to be False: Two Additional Wanted Subjects Located During Incident

DATE/TIME: Monday, February 3, 2025 / 8:16 A.M.

INCIDENT: False 911 Call / Parolee at Large / Warrant Arrest

LOCATION: 500 block of Lytle Creek Road, Lytle Creek

SUSPECT: Dashawn Hubbard, a 40-year-old male resident of Lytle Creek
Jason Rodriguez, a 29-year-old male resident of Lytle Creek
Lonnie Tripp, a 63-year-old male resident of Lytle Creek


SUMMARY: On Monday, February 3, 2025, at about 8:16 a.m., Fontana Station deputies responded to a report of a person with a firearm in the 500 block of Lytle Creek Road, Lytle Creek. The reporting party, Dashawn Hubbard, a 40-year-old male resident of Lytle Creek, called 911 to report someone was trying to kill him with a firearm.

Deputies, with the assistance of Sheriff’s Aviation, arrived and safely contacted a large group of people. Hubbard refused to exit the location and was later found hiding inside. It was determined Hubbard reported a false emergency to 911. He was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment of an unrelated medical issue. Upon completion, the investigation will be forwarded to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office for review. 

Jason Rodriguez, a 29-year-old male resident of Lytle Creek, was contacted at the location and found to have an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest in Riverside County. Lonnie Tripp, a 63-year-old male resident of Lytle Creek, was found to be a parolee at large with a no bail warrant for his arrest. Rodriguez was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center. Tripp was arrested but required medical care for an unrelated medical condition and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
