Weather Advisory

Good Afternoon,

We have attached the latest weather forecast for our community. The Thursday morning commute may have some issues so allow for extra travel time in the morning.

WEATHER ALERT

Brief Heavy Snow / Mix Early Thursday, Then Rain... Clouds build this evening ahead of the approaching storm. Some initial flurries aren't ruled out around Midnight and have a low chance of a dusting. Light snow / mixed showers become more common 1 - 3 AM, followed by a quick-hitting but heavy push of precip late at night into early Thursday. In particular, the 4 - 8 AM window will see about two hours of decent snow / sleet (that will bounce back and forth with intensity) leading to a quick accumulation on all surfaces. The combination of high rates and dense snow/sleet will likely lead to plowable amounts, despite totals around 1.0" (maybe near 2.0" in spots). It doesn't last long, as freezing rain/rain mixes through the morning before temps safely rise above 32 by midday. This ends as plain drizzle with a high in the mid-upper 30s. There is a low patchy refreeze risk Thursday Night with marginal temps.
