WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 1 PM EST THURSDAY.
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to two inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze.
* WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey, and southeast New York.
* WHEN...From 4 AM to 1 PM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Slow down and use caution while traveling. Check local Department of Transportation information services for the latest road conditions.
Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
