Weather Advisory – Potential Hazardous Morning Travel - Monroe Twp. Schools Announce 2-hour delay 
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory for our area beginning late this evening through Thursday morning. Light snow, sleet and freezing rain are all expected. Plan on slippery road conditions and exercise extreme caution when driving. If possible, avoid any unnecessary travel and allow extra travel time for your Thursday morning commute.
The Monroe Township School District has announced that they will be operating on a 2-hour delayed opening due to the anticipated hazardous weather conditions and that any updates to school status will be made by 7:00am. (www.monroe.k12.nj.us)
Monroe Twp. Department of Public Works (DPW) has applied brine to primary roads. Please remove all vehicles from the roadways so that our DPW can properly and safely salt and clear.
