Winter Weather Advisory for Thursday 
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory and Hazardous Weather Outlook for our area, from 4:00 AM through 1:00 PM on Thursday. The current forecast anticipates up to two inches of snow and sleet, as well as ice accumulation. Road conditions are expected to be slippery and residents are advised to use caution when driving.
The Department of Public Works has overnight crews in place and will begin pre-treating roadways in advance of the snow and sleet. They will continue to monitor conditions, and an additional alert will be sent out if plowing becomes necessary and cars need to be removed from the roads.
