The Water Department is actively working on multiple Water Main Breaks:  one on Sherwood Ave;  and on Prospect Heights Way; and on Manistee St
⚠️ Please seek alternate routes to avoid delays⚠️

Residents in the area of Sherwood and side streets from Penssylvania Ave to Columbia Turnpike will be affected by this break.

Residents in Prospect Heights in the area of (1) Manistee St  and (2) Prospect Heights Way and surrounding streets may be affected by these breaks as well. 

Residents may experience low pressure to no water during the repair.

Water Main Breaks like this typically take six hours to repair once locations have been marked out and the Water Department begins to dig. Once the leak has been identified the pipe will be assessed and repair will be made. Typically, these breaks do not result in Boil Water Advisories. In the event that one is issued, the Dept of Public Works will send out communication immediately with instructions. Updates will only be provided if needed.
