The Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety (RPDPS) has been investigating numerous burglaries committed at various schools within the Cotati Rohnert Park Unified School District (CRPUSD) between January 24, 2025 and January 26, 2025. Through the investigation, RPDPS Officers and Detectives identified two male juveniles as the suspects in the burglaries.
On 02/06/2025, RPDPS Officers and Detectives executed a search warrant at two residences associated with the juvenile suspects.
Both juvenile suspects were ultimately arrested and booked into Sonoma County Juvenile Hall for felony violations of California Penal Code Section 459 – Burglary; California Penal Code Section 487(a) PC – Grand Theft; and California Penal Code Section 182(a)(1) PC – Conspiracy. One of the juveniles was also arrested and booked for a felony violation of California Penal Code Section 594(a)(2) PC – Vandalism.
