Farther west the expected snow should be on the lower end of the previously expected amounts in the Winter Storm Watch, so opted to upgrade to an advisory. Also for the advisory area the bulk of the snow is expected to fall overnight from Friday night into Saturday morning and will not overlap with any peak travel times.
