Dear Mendham Borough Residents and Business Owners,
 
Although we all love our Mendham Borough to remain exactly as it is with its historic charm, change is inevitable in life.
 
It is with highly mixed emotions that I write to my Mendham Borough community today to let you know that I resigned my position as Mayor.
 
I have dedicated my life to public service in federal, state and local governments, with my favorite so far being with all of you while caring for this town that I love and have grown up in. Being Mayor of Mendham Borough, and the first woman Mayor, has given me an opportunity to give back to my community and help usher our small historic town into the future in as graceful a manner as possible.
 
My time of service is not over, as I share with you that I was offered and accepted a position to work in the White House. I am honored to have this opportunity to serve our nation once again and promise to bring the same dedication and compassion to this new job that I brought each day to our lovely town.
 
It has been my great pleasure to serve such a wonderful town and with such amazing people. I wish you and our Boro team the very best ahead and know that I am always just a phone call away.
