Severe Weather Shelter Open Tonight - Thursday Night 
Due to freezing temperatures, the Severe Weather Shelter will be open tonight, Saturday, February 8th through Thursday night, February 13th. The shelter is located at the Senior Community Center, 370 Brien Ave. SE. Shelter residents must check in between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
If anyone needs assistance after hours, they must call 911 and have a police/fire escort to check into an activated shelter.
The City Emergency Manager is monitoring the forecast will activate the Severe Weather Shelter for additional nights if necessary.
