Rutherford County’s free debris removal service will have its FINAL dates for pickup: Zone 1 by February 17th and Zone 2 by February 24th. Over 600,000 cubic yards of debris have been collected so far. 

Please place storm-related vegetative debris (trees & limbs) within the road's right-of-way. Do not block utility meters, fire hydrants, driveways, or storm drains. Do not place debris in the road or street. Debris should be left loose—no bags. This service applies to state-maintained and municipally controlled roads only.

To report debris, email debris@rutherfordcountync.gov, including your name, address, contact information, and photos if possible, so we can schedule the proper equipment for pickup.
